Royal Decree 46/88 Declaring Public Benefit Status for the Internal Roads Project in the Wilayat of Qabil

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 64/78 Issuing the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit and its amendements,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The project for the construction of internal roads in the Wilayat of Qabil, as specified in the attached note and masterplan, is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article 2

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
