We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 44/80 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Awadh Bader Marie Al-Shanfari—Our ambassador to the People’s Republic of China—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to:

1. The Kingdom of Thailand.

2. The Republic of the Philippines.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
