We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,
the petroleum agreement signed by Us with the Sun Petroleum Group on 4 February 1973 and amended on 15 February 1974,
Royal Decree 8/81 Approving the Assignments Made Between Some Concessionaire Companies,
and the assignment agreement concluded between Amoco Company, Wintershall Company, Schachtbau Company, and Rautenkranz Company on 5 April 1982, which was approved by the Minister of Oil and Minerals in his letter dated 19 January 1983,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The assignment by Schachtbau Company of 50% of its share and all its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement to Rautenkranz Company is hereby approved, so that the final shares of the companies comprising the group become as follows:

The provisions of article 23 of the original agreement dated 4 February 1973 apply to this assignment.
Article 2

and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ahmed Mohammed Al-Lamki—Our ambassador to the United Kingdom—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Agreement Establishing the Arab Tourism Organization, affiliated with the League of Arab States, signed on 13 June 1979 and approved by the Economic and Social Council at its twenty-eighth session by its decision 811 dated 11-13 February 1980,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Mohammed Said Al-Marhoon—Ambassador of the Sultanate to the Republic of Tunisia—is hereby authorised to sign on Our behalf the mentioned agreement.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation on Income Derived From Air Transport Operations Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India initialled in Muscat on 27 October 1982,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Minister of Transport is hereby authorised to sign on Our behalf the mentioned Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation on Income Derived from Air Transport Operations Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
