Royal Decree 60/81 Ratifying the Petroleum Agreement Signed Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and JAPEX OMAN LTD

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,

Royal Decree 47/81 Issuing the Corporate Income Tax Law,

and the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and JAPEX OMAN LTD signed on 4 July 1981 between the Minister of Oil and Minerals representing the Sultanate and the mentioned company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned petroleum agreement signed between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and JAPEX OMAN LTD is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Brigadier General Al-Mu’tasim bin Hamoud bin Nasr Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 58/81 Appointing a Secretary for the Council of Ministers

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Salim bin Abdullah Al-Ghazali is hereby appointed Secretary of the Council of Ministers with his current grade and allocations.

Article 2

The Council of Ministers shall determine the authorities and responsibilities of the mentioned secretary, and he is supervised by the Minister of Royal Court Affairs.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 57/81 Appointing a President for the Capital Municipality and Members for the Municipal Council

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Law 4 of 1975 issuing the Law Reorganising the Capital Municipality and its amendments,

the decision of the Council of Ministers at its session of 31 December 1979 nominating members of the Municipal Council of the Capital Municipality,

and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed Chairman of the Muscat Municipality, transferred from the Governorate of the capital, and is granted the grade of undersecretary, in exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law.

Article 2

The following are hereby appointed members of the Municipal Council of the Capital Municipality:

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Land Affairs and Municipalities is hereby adopted in accordance with the schedule attached to this decree.

Article 2

All that is contrary to this decree, or previous decrees in conflict with it, is hereby repealed.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 46/80 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Protocol,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Protocol previously adopted by Us by virtue of the mentioned Royal Decree 46/80 is hereby amended in accordance with the structure attached to this decree of Ours.
