We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the Income Tax Decree of 1971,

and Royal Decree 21/75,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The exemption prescribed by article 2 of the mentioned Royal Decree 21/75 for companies wholly owned by Omani nationals hereby continues for an additional five-year period from 1 July 1980.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Article 1

In exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law, Suleiman Barakat Al-Lamki and Mohammed Ali Nasser Al-Alawi, at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, are hereby transferred to the first financial grade of the first circle of the general schedule designated for an undersecretary of a ministry, effective from 1 June 1980.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74 and in accordance with the provisions of article 132 of it,

and Royal Decree 50/80 Establishing Petroleum Development Oman Limited Liability Company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The five members representing the stake of the Sultanate in the Board of Directors of the mentioned Petroleum Development Oman Company are hereby appointed in accordance with the text of the first paragraph of article ten of its constitutive contract as follows:

(a) Three members representing the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals, including the chairman of the Board of Directors, and they are selected by the Minister of Petroleum and Minerals.

(b) A member representing the Directorate General of Finance, selected by the Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs Council.

(c) A member representing the Development Council, selected by the Assistant Chairman of the Development Council.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling signed in Washington on 2 December 1946, the Protocol signed in Washington on 19 November 1956, and the Schedule dated April 1979 as amended by the London meeting in July 1979 and both attached to it,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned International Whaling Convention and the protocol and schedule attached to it is hereby ratified.

Article 2

The competent entities shall implement this agreement, and it shall become effective for the Sultanate of Oman from the date of the notification of accession in accordance with the provisions of article X of the mentioned convention.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

the initialled Bilateral Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India on 7 February 1973 on Air Services Between Them,

and the Convention on International Civil Aviation signed at Chicago on 7 December 1944,

The Minister of Transport is hereby authorised to sign the mentioned Bilateral Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of India for Air Services Between Them.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
