We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments and annexes,

Royal Decree 28/79 Amending the Formation of the Council of Ministers,

and Law 4/73 Establishing the Official Gazette,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Directorate General of the Diwan of Legislation and the Directorate of the Official Gazette are hereby transferred to the Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs.

Article 2

All relevant government units shall implement this decree, each within the limits of its mandate.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

Article 1

A governorate for the Region of Musandam is hereby established, whose headquarters is in Khasab and which comprises the current Wilayat of Bukha and Dibba.

Article 2

The job level of the Governor of Musandam is hereby set at Special Grade B.

Article 3

The Wali in each of the Wilayat of Bukha and Dibba hereby becomes the Deputy Governor of Musandam.

Article 4

All relevant entities shall implement this decree.

Article 5

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 1 September 1979.

and the assigment issued by AGIP SpA of all its rights and obligations in the mentioned agreement to AGIP (Overseas) Limited,

The assignment by AGIP SpA of all its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement and the joint operations agreement for the exploration, development and exploitation of petroleum in the contract block attached to it to AGIP (Overseas) Limited.
