We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of article 14 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Ali Mohammed Al-Jamali, Our ambassador to the Republic of India, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

Article 2

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 1 April 1978, and must be published in the Official Gazette.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the Banking Law 7/74, amended by Royal Decree 55/77,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The authorised capital of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby increased to ten million Rial Omani, provided that the paid-up capital is set at ten million Rial Omani.

Article 2

The required increase must be financed from the general reserve of the bank in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Banking Law, as amended.

Article 3

All relevant entities shall implement this decree.

Article 4

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

Article 1

The text of article 9 of Royal Decree 51/77 referred to above is hereby amended to read as follows:

The Oman Housing Bank is exempted from all the provisions of chapter three of part four of the Banking Law of 1974, as well as from the provisions of articles 4-06.4 and 4-05.4(d) of chapter four of the same mentioned law, and from all other laws that conflict with the provisions of this decree.

Article 2

All relevant entities shall implement this decree.

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.

after perusal of Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,

the Oil Agreement entered into between the Government of the Sultanate and the Alf Sumitomo Group on 14 May 1975, in particular article 21 of it,

and the assignment by Alf Sumitomo Group to Wintershall Aktien-Gesellschaft of an undivided share of 20% of its interest, rights and obligations in the mentioned agreement and the acceptance of Wintershall Aktien-Gesellschaft of this assignment on 30 December 1977,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The assignment by Alf Sumitomo Group of an undivided share of 20% of its interest, rights, and obligations in the mentioned agreement entered into between it and the Government of the Sultanate on 14 May 1975 to Wintershall Aktien-Gesellschaft is hereby approved, which accepts the assignment in accordance with its declaration dated 30 December 1977. The provisions of article 21 of the mentioned agreement hereby apply to this assignment.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
