Arabic Consolidated Text

Based on the Maritime Law issued by Royal Decree 35/81,

and the Law Governing Maritime Navigation in Territorial Waters issued by Royal Decree 98/81,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The provisions of the attached Governance Regulation for Bunkering Ships in Omani Ports hereby apply.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached regulation, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decision must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Royal Decree 17/2020 Transferring and Appointing in the Diplomatic Corps

Arabic We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The ambassadors named below are hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry:

1. Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Saleh bin Hilal Al-Saadi, Our ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.

2. Mohammed bin Salim bin Hamoud Al-Harthi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Korea.

3. Sheikh Dr Sulaiman bin Saud bin Ali Al-Jabri, Our ambassador to the Republic of Sudan.

4. Dr Khalid bin Said bin Salim Al-Jaradi, Our ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.

5. Saud bin Ali bin Mohammed Al-Ruqaishi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia.

6. Saud bin Ahmed bin Khalid Al-Barwani, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

7. Dr Adnan bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Ansari, Our ambassador to the State of Kuwait.

Article II

The following are hereby transferred:

1. Abdullah bin Nasser bin Musallam Al-Rahbi, the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate in Geneva, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the United Arab Emirates.

2. Dr Said bin Mohammed bin Ali Al-Barami, Our ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Morocco.

Article III

The following are hereby appointed:

1. Yahya bin Mooosa bin Issa Al-Bakri an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Tunisia.

2. Nasser bin Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Busaidy an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the People’s Republic of China.

3. Ibrahim bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Muaini an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

4. Sayyid Turki bin Mahmood bin Ali Al-Busaidy an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Syrian Arab Republic.

5. Hamid bin Ahmed bin Aqeel Aidaroos Al-Sheikh Abubakr an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Iraq.

6. Issa bin Abdullah bin Jabir Al-Alawi an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Thailand.

Article IV

The following are hereby granted:

1. Minister Plenipotentiary Idris bin Abdulrahman bin Issa Al- Khanjari the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary of Ours to the United Nations in Geneva.

2. Minister Plenipotentiary Saleh bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Saqri the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary of Ours to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

3. Minister Plenipotentiary Dr Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim bin Hamad Al-Harthi the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary of Ours to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

4. Minister Plenipotentiary Dr Saleh bin Amer bin Harith Al- Kharusi the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary of Ours to the State of Kuwait.

5. Minister Plenipotentiary Ali bin Sulaiman bin Said Al- Darmaki the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary of Ours to the Republic of Sudan.

6. Minister Plenipotentiary Sheikh Zakaria bin Hamad bin Hilal Al-Saadi the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary of Ours to the Republic of Korea.

7. Advisor Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Bahrani the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary of Ours to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

8. Advisor Yousef bin Said bin Mohammed Al-Amri the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary of Ours to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Article V

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,

and Royal Decree 62/2013 Establishing the National Museum and Issuing Its System,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Jamal bin Hassan Al-Moosawi is hereby appointed Secretary General for the National Museum with the special grade.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 15/2020 Amending Some Provisions of Royal Decree 62/2013 Establishing the National Museum and the System Attached to It

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 62/2013 Establishing the National Museum and Issuing Its System,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached amendments to the aforementioned Royal Decree 62/2013 and the system attached to it shall be implemented.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached amendments or in conflict with their provisions is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
