Royal Decree 58/2014 Ratifying the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Malta on the Mutual Exemption from Visas for Holders of Diplomatic, Service and Special Passports

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Malta on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic, Service and Special Passports signed in the city of Muscat on 30 Rajab 1435, corresponding to 29 May 2014,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 57/2014 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Dr Khalid bin Said bin Salim Al-Jaradi, Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Brazil, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Argentina, the Republic of Uruguay, the Republic of Paraguay, the Republic of Ecuador, and the Republic of Guatemala.

Article II

Ambassador Saud bin Ahmed bin Khalid Al-Barwani, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Tajikistan.

Article III

Ambassador Khamis bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Farsi, Our ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Iraq.

Article IV

Ambassador Saud bin Ali bin Mohammed Al-Ruqaishi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Tanzania, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Union of the Comoros.

Article V

Ambassador Dr Said bin Mohammed bin Ali Al-Barami, Our ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan).

Article VI

Ambassador Mubarak bin Salim bin Ali Al-Zakwani, Our ambassador to the Republic of South Africa, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Mauritius and the Republic of Mozambique.

Article VII

His Highness ambassador Nizar bin Al-Julanda bin Majid Al-Said, Our ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Fiji.

Article VIII

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance. Issued on: 19 Dhu Al-Hijja 1435 Corresponding to: 13 October 2014

Telecommunications Regulatory Authority: Decision 60/2014 Issuing the Regulation Governing the Utilisation of and Access to Passive Infrastructure

Based on the Telecommunications Law promulgated by Royal Decree 30/2002,

the Executive Regulation of the Telecommunications Law issued by Decision 144/2008,

and the approval of the board of directors of the authority in its meeting 4/2013 dated 22 May 2013,

and in pursuance of public interest

it is hereby decided

Article I

The provisions of the attached regulation hereby apply in regard to the governance of the utilisation of and access to passive infrastructure.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached regulation, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decision must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
