We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ambassador Najim bin Sulaiman bin Najim Al-Abri, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the European Union and the European Commission.
Article II
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Dr Saeed bin Hamad bin Saeed Al-Rubaie is hereby appointed Secretary General of the Education Council with the special grade.
