We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Law of Free Zones promulgated by Royal Decree 56/2002,
and Royal Decree 38/2011 Abolishing the Ministry of National Economy,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning shall exercise the competences and authorities of the Secretary General of the National Ministry of Economy (abolished) in the Free Zones Committee stipulated in the aforementioned Law of Free Zones.
Article II
All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Italian Republic on the Exemption of Visa Requirement for Holders of Diplomatic, Service and Special Passports signed on 10 October 2012,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.
Article II
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 26/75,
Royal Decree 112/2004 Establishing the Ministry of Sports Affairs and Determining Its Competences,
and Royal Decree 7/2006 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Sports Affairs,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The organisational level of the sports affairs directorates in the Ministry of Sports Affairs in the governorates of Dhofar and Batinah North is hereby upgraded to a directorate general named the “Directorate General of Sports Affairs in the Governorate of Dhofar” and the “Directorate General of Sports Affairs in the Governorate of Batinah North”.
Article II
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Ambassador Khalid bin Sulaiman bin Abdulrahman Baomar, Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to:
– The Kingdom of Sweden.
– The Kingdom of Norway.
– The Kingdom of Denmark.
– The Republic of Poland.
– The Republic of Finland.
– The Republic of Iceland.
– The Swiss Confederation.
