We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ambassador Yahya bin Moosa bin Issa Al-Bakri, Our ambassador to the United Republic of Tanzania, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Burundi and the Republic of Uganda.
Article II
Ambassador Dr Qasim bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Salhi, Our ambassador to the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
Article III
Ambassador Ahmed bin Barakat bin Abdullah Al-Ibrahim, Our ambassador to the Republic of Senegal, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of the Gambia, the Republic of Guinea, and the Republic of Cape Verde.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Banking Law promulgated by Royal Decree 114/2000,
Royal Decree 52/2006 Establishing the Information Technology Authority,
and the Electronic Transactions Law promulgated by Royal Decree 69/2008,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The text of article 5 of the aforementioned Electronic Transactions Law is hereby replaced with the following text:
The competent authority shall establish, operate, and develop the electronic payment gateway, and shall specify its working system in coordination with the Central Bank of Oman.
Article II
All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
