We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74,

the Capital Market Law promulgated by Royal Decree 80/98,

and Royal Decree 82/98 Establishing the Muscat Depository and Securities Registration Company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The name of Muscat Depository and Securities Registration Company SAOC provided in article 1 of the aforementioned Royal Decree 82/98 is hereby amended to Muscat Clearing and Depository Company SAOC, and it may amend it in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned Commercial Companies Law.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Royal Decree 26/75 Concerning the Promulgation of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State,

and Royal Decree 32/2003 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Social Development and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

A directorate general named the “Directorate General of Planning and Studies” is hereby established in the Ministry of Social Development, subordinate to the minister.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and Royal Decree 31/2006 Issuing the System of the Oman Medical Specialty Board,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The text of article 6 of the aforementioned System of the Oman Medical Specialty Board is hereby replaced with the following text:

The executive regulation of this system must specify the conditions of occupying technical and administrative positions in the board and the provisions governing appointment, promotion, salaries; granting of stipends, allowances, other and benefits; and all that relates to employment affairs, without being bound by the provisions of the Civil Service Law and its executive regulation.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
