Royal Decree 51/2006 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Project for Developing the Wilayat of Mussanah Souq

Arabic

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project for developing the Wilayat of Mussanah Souq specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 50/2006 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Project for Developing and Beautifying the Riyam Area in the Wilayat of Muttrah

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project for developing and beautifying the Riyam area in the Wilayat of Muttrah specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, establishments and land necessary for the project, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Royal Decree 47/2006 Ratifying Some Provisions of the Arab Convention 18/96 on Child Labour and the Arab Convention 19/98 on Work Inspection

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96, the Arab Convention 18/96 on Child Labour, and the Arab Convention 19/98 on Work Inspection, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the Arab Convention 18/96 on Child Labour, with the exception of articles 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 20, 21, and 23, are hereby ratified.

Article II

The provisions of the Arab Convention 19/98 on Work Inspection, with the exception of the provisions of articles 11, 15, 18, 22, 26, 29, 30, 32, 38, 40, and 41, are hereby ratified.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance. Issued on: 12 Rabi Al-Thani 1427 Corresponding to: 10 May 2006
