We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 120/2004,

and Royal Decree 4/2006 Adding Some Employment and Pension Provisions in Relation to Ministry Undersecretaries and Their Equivalent to the Law of Civil Service and the Law on Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for Omani Government Employees,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Dr Ali bin Jaafar bin Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Lawatia is hereby appointed Advisor for Health Affairs in the Ministry of Health and granted the special grade.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The mentioned agreement is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 28/2003 Approving the Petroleum Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate and Encana International Company signed on 9 February 2003,

and the collection of documents by which Encana International Company assigned 50% of its rights and obligations in the Petroleum Agreement signed on 9 February 2003 to Denerco Oil Company, which accepts this assignment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment of Encana International Company of 50% of its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 9 February 2003 to Denerco Oil Company is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
