Royal Decree 18/2004 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Rustaq/Maskan Road Project

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Rustaq/Maskan Road Project specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project specified in article I, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 17/2004 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Qurayyat/Sur Road Project (Phase II)

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Qurayyat/Sur Road Project (Phase II) specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project specified in article 1, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 15/2004 Appointing an Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan and a Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman

His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimur Al-Said is hereby appointed an advisor to His Majesty the Sultan.

Article II

Commodore Salim bin Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Alawi is hereby promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral and appointed Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Article II
