We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimur Al-Said is hereby appointed an advisor to His Majesty the Sultan.
Article II
Commodore Salim bin Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Alawi is hereby promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral and appointed Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Malik bin Suleiman bin Said Al-Mamari is hereby granted the rank of Lieutenant General and appointed Inspector General of Police and Customs with the rank of minister.
Article II
Sheikh Hilal bin Khalid bin Nasser Al-Maawali is hereby appointed Minister of Civil Service.
Article III
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Issa Al-Harthy is hereby appointed Minister of Transport and Communications.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The phrase “in articles 8bis(2), 15(5) and (6), and 51bis(3) of the law” hereby replaces the phrase “in article 8bis(2) and article 51bis(3)” stipulated in article 4(2) of the mentioned Royal Decree 54/2003.
Article II
Article 4(3) of the mentioned Royal Decree 54/2003 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to this decree.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and Royal Decree 64/83 Establishing the Omani Banking Institute and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The name “Banking and Financial Studies Institute” stipulated in article 1 of the mentioned Royal Decree 64/83 is hereby amended to “College of Banking and Financial Studies.”
Article II
The name of the “Director General of the Institute” is hereby amended to “Dean of the College.”
Article III
All relevant entities shall implement the provisions of this decree and shall act accordingly.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
