We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby granted to those named below, from the date stated next to each name:

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Mohammed bin Said bin Mohammed Al-Lawati, Our ambassador to the Russian Federation, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to Ukraine, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Belarus.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 97/81 Establishing the Public Authority for Marketing Agricultural Products,

and Royal Decree 98/85 Appointing an Executive President for the Public Authority for Marketing Agricultural Products,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Public Authority for Marketing Agricultural Products is hereby abolished and its assets are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Finance.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with it, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows

Article I

The text of article 5 of the mentioned Royal Decree 88/2001 is hereby replaced with the following text:

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication, with the exception of article II, which comes into force on 1 August 2002.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of entry into force of the mentioned Royal Decree 88/2001.
