We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 86/97 Regarding Majlis Oman,

and Royal Decree 89/97 Appointing the Chairman and the Members of Majlis Al-Dawla,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Zahran bin Said bin Nasser Al-Hadhrami is hereby appointed a member of Majlis Al-Dawla, replacing Sayyid Hilal bin Saud bin Harib Al-Busaidi.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
