Royal Decree 38/2023 Appointing a Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the World Tourism Organization in Madrid

Arabic We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State, and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Omar bin Said Al-Kathiri, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, is hereby appointed a permanent representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the World Tourism Organization in Madrid.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance. Issued on: 18 Dhu Al-Qa’dah 1444 Corresponding to: 7 June 2023

Royal Decree 37/2023 Approving the Assignment by EOG Resources Muscat Block 49 SPC of All Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 14 November 2017 for Block 49 to Tethys Oil Montasar Limited

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,

Royal Decree 49/2017 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Signed between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Tethys Oil Montasar Limited for Block 49,

Royal Decree 25/2021 Approving the Assignment by Tethys Oil Montasar Limited of 50% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 14 November 2017 for Block 49 to EOG Resources Muscat Block 49 SPC,

and the collection of documents by which EOG Resources Muscat Block 49 SPC assigned all its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 14 November 2017 for Block 49 to Tethys Oil Montasar Limited, which accepts this assignment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by EOG Resources Muscat Block 49 SPC of all its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 14 November 2017 for Block 49 to Tethys Oil Montasar Limited is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
