We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,

Royal Decree 98/88 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Amoco Oman Petroleum,

Royal Decree 89/89 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Conquest Exploration Oman,

Royal Decree 16/92 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Compact Exploration Limited,

and Royal Decree 25/92 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Compact Exploration Limited.

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Minister of Oil and Minerals is hereby authorised to amend the concession period in the petroleum agreements ratified by the mentioned royal decrees in the stages preceding the commercial registeration, in agreement with the concession-holding companies.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.

Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim bin Said Al-Abri is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour for Social Affairs.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
