We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the International Convention on Salvage, 1989,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the International Convention on Salvage, 1989 is hereby approved.
Article 2
Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of accession with the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization in accordance with the provisions of the convention.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances is hereby approved.
Article II
Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of accession to the convention with the Secretary General of the United Nations in accordance with its provisions.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
