We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Advisor Hilal bin Salim bin Hamoud Al-Siyabi is hereby promoted to the grade of ambassador.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 11 August 1988.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the initialled Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of Brunei Darussalam for Air Services Between and Beyond Their Respective Territories,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Minister of Transport is hereby authorised to sign the mentioned Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of Brunei Darussalam for Air Services Between and Beyond their Respective Territories.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

Royal Decree 2/85 Amending the Ministerial Formation,

and Royal Decree 37/85 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Regional Municipal Affairs,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The name of the Ministry of Regional Municipal Affairs is hereby amended to the Ministry of Regional Municipalities.

Article II

Sayyid Abdulhamid bin Yarub Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities for Municipalities Affairs.

Article III

Naif bin Obaid Al-Salami is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities for Administrative Affairs.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
