We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 87/81 Establishing the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers,
and Royal Decree 58/86 Abolishing the Ministry of Royal Diwan Affairs,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs shall supervise the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and the internal regulation of the council must be amended accordingly.
Article 2
A special royal decree must be issued to govern the secretariat and determine its administrative status.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
