We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
In addition to what is stipulated in the mentioned Royal Decree 50/81 in articles 6, 7, and 8, Oman Bank for Agriculture and Fisheries is hereby granted the following privileges:
(a) The funds of the bank are deemed public property, and they enjoy the rights of the public treasury of the Sultanate and its privileges and priorities against the property of the debtors of the bank and their guarantors.
The bank may collect its debts and rights in accordance with the procedures for the collection of government funds and with priority over debts and rights of others.
(b) The notifications of the bank at various government directorates regarding real estate registration or enforcement procedures, and against the debtors of the bank, their guarantors, and their rights with others, have the status of official government notifications.
(c) The lawsuits of the bank, its claims, and its executive and administrative procedures have urgency status with the courts, directorates, committees, and other administrative councils in the Sultanate.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
