We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 25/84 Governing the Criminal Judiciary,

Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 26/84 Appointing the President of the Criminal Court in the Capital and His Deputy,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Said bin Hilal bin Mohammed Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed President of the Criminal Court in the Capital with the grade of undersecretary of a ministry.

Article 2

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
