We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

In pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Colonel Malik bin Suleiman bin Said Al-Mamari, Deputy Head of the Palace Office, is hereby promoted to the grade of undersecretary.

Article 2

Those concerned shall implement this decree, which shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Harthy is hereby appointed Governor of the Region of Musandam with the grade of undersecretary of a ministry.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force as of 1 December 1984.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage, 1969,

and the International Convention on the Establishment of an International Fund for Compensation for Oil Pollution Damage, 1971 resulting from the 1971 conference in this regard,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The accession of the Sultanate to the mentioned International Convention on the Establishment of an International Fund for Compensation for Oil Pollution Damage, 1971 is hereby ratified.

Article 2

Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of ratification in accordance with the terms of the mentioned convention.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

The accession of the Sultanate to the mentioned International Convention Relating to Intervention on the High Seas in Cases of Oil Pollution Casualties, 1969 and its Protocol of 1973 Relating to Intervention on the High Seas in Cases of Marine Pollution by Substances Other Than Oil is hereby ratified.

Article 2

The competent entities shall deposit the instruments of ratification in accordance with the terms of the mentioned convention and its protocol.
