Based on the Members of Majlis Al-Shura Elections Law promulgated by Royal Decree 58/2013,

the Law of Majlis Oman promulgated by Royal Decree 7/2021,

and the System of Governorates promulgated by Royal Decree 36/2022,

and based on the royal orders,

the following announcement is hereby issued:

The election of representatives of Al-Jabal Al-Akdhar in the Governorate of Dakhiliya and the Wilayat of Sinaw in the Governorate of Sharqiya North to Majlis Al-Shura shall begin from the tenth term of the Majlis. The elections are scheduled to take place—Allah willing—during the year 2023.

and Royal Decree 97/2020 Amending the Name of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The attached working system of the grievance committee stipulated in article 30 of the aforementioned Foreign Capital Investment Law, and the procedures followed before it, shall apply.

Article II

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
