We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
A directorate general named the “Directorate General of Planning and Studies” is hereby established in the Ministry of Social Development, subordinate to the minister.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Traffic Law promulgated by Royal Decree 28/93,
and Royal Decree 64/97 Establishing the National Road Safety Committee,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
A new paragraph is hereby added to the end of article 1 of the Annex of the Provisions of the National Road Safety Committee attached to the aforementioned Royal Decree 64/97, with the following text:
The Council of Ministers may recompose the committee or amend its composition based on a proposal by the Inspector General of Police and Customs.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ali bin Thabit bin Ali Al-Battashi and Engineer Khalifa bin Mubarak bin Ali Al-Hinai are hereby appointed Advisors to the Ministry of Oil and Gas, and both are granted the special grade.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
