We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Security Cooperation and Coordination Agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran signed in Tehran on 13 Sha’ban 1430, corresponding to 5 August 2009,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 120/2004,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry issued by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Organisational Structure of the Foreign Ministry is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Mohammed bin Yousuf bin Qasim Al-Zarafi is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The aforementioned Agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Principles of Cooperation and Relations is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
