We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Statute of the International Atomic Energy Agency,

and the approval of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency on 29 September 2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the International Atomic Energy Agency and its statute is hereby approved.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of accession to the aforementioned agency in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Ruzaiqa Ernest Berthold Stinger is hereby granted Omani nationality as of 1 April 2008.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.

Mohammed Jawad bin Hassan bin Suleiman is hereby appointed Advisor to the Ministry of Finance and granted the special grade.
