We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,

and the petroleum agreement signed on 28 June 2006 between the Government of the Sultanate and each of Oilex NL, Videocon Industries Limited, Gail (India) Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Hindustan Corporation Limited (Block 56),

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 28 June 2006 between the Government of the Sultanate and each of Oilex NL, Videocon Industries Limited, Gail (India) Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Hindustan Corporation Limited is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and Royal Decree 32/2003 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Social Development and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

The text of article I of the mentioned Royal Decree 32/2003 is hereby replaced with the following text:

Article I

The mandates of the Ministry of Social Development are hereby determined in accordance with the attached annex 1. The Minister of Social Development shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement these mandates.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
