Article I
Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Futaisi is hereby appointed Executive President of the Oman Medical Specialty Board with the grade of undersecretary of a ministry.Article II

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
Royal Decree 27/85 Establishing the Supreme Committee for City Planning and its amendments,
Royal Decree 31/2005 Recomposing the Supreme Committee for City Planning,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Supreme Committee for City Planning is hereby recomposed as follows:
Minister of National Economy —Chairman
Minister of Housing, Electricity, and Water—Deputy Chairman
Minister of Interior—Member
Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar—Member
Inspector General of Police and Customs—Member
Minister of Transport and Communications—Member
Minister of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources—Member
Minister of Tourism—Member
Chairman of Muscat Municipality—Member
Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Economy for Development Affairs—Member
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence—Member
Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for City Planning—Member and Secretary
Article II
A new paragraph is hereby added to article 5 of the mentioned Royal Decree 27/85 with the following text:
The chairman of the committee shall issue the regulations of the Secretariat General and the affairs of its employees without being bound by government rules and systems. Until the regulation on the affairs of the employees of the Secretariat General is issued, the applicable employment system continues to operate in their regard.
Article III
The mentioned Royal Decree 31/2005 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to this decree.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Sheikh Salim bin Aufait bin Abdullah Al-Shanfari is hereby appointed Chairman of Dhofar Municipality with the special grade.
Article II
His Excellency Engineer Ahmed bin Ali bin Abdullah Al-Habshi Al-Amri is hereby appointed advisor for Technical Affairs in the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar with his same grade and financial allocations.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Article I
The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned convention is hereby approved.
Article II
Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of accession to the mentioned convention in accordance with its provisions.

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

the Judicial Authority Law issued by Royal Decree 90/99 and its amendments,
the Law of the Administrative Court issued by Royal Decree 91/99,
and the Public Prosecution Law issued by Royal Decree 92/99,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The text of article 32 of the Judicial Authority Law issued by Royal Decree 90/99 is hereby replaced with the following text:
Appointment in judicial positions must be by a decision by the Minister of Justice after the approval of the Council of Administrative Affairs, with the exception of the position of the President of the Supreme Court, the position of the Deputy President of the Supreme Court, and the position of Supreme Court Judge, whose appointment must be by royal decree based on a nomination by the council.
Article II
The text of the first paragraph of article 45 of the Law of the Administrative Court issued by Royal Decree 91/99 is hereby replaced with the following text:
Appointment in the positions of the members of the court must be by a decision by the competent minister after the approval of the Council of Administrative Affairs, with the exception of the position of the president of the court and the position of the deputy president, whose appointment must be by royal decree based on a nomination by the Council of Administrative Affairs.
Article III
The text of article 7 of the Public Prosecution Law issued by Royal Decree 92/99 is hereby replaced with the following text:
Appointment in the positions of the Public Prosecution must be by a decision of the Inspector General of Police and Customs after the approval of the Council of Administrative Affairs stipulated in the Judicial Authority Law, with the exception of the position of Public Prosecutor and the position of Deputy Public Prosecutor, whose appointment must be by royal decree through a nomination by the council based on a recommendation by the inspector general.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Alawi bin Ahmed bin Alawi Al-Haddad is hereby appointed general supervisor of the office of the secretary general in Salalah with the rank of undersecretary of a ministry.
