The project for developing the Tina area in Khor Al-Batah in the Wilayat of Sur specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 82/2004 Ratifying the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the North-South Transport Corridor Agreement

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96, and the North-South Transport Corridor Agreement, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the North-South Transport Corridor Agreement is hereby ratified.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of accession to the mentioned agreement in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,

and the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Hunt Oman Musandam Exploration Company signed on 15 June 2004,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Hunt Oman Musandam Exploration Company signed on 15 June 2004 is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
