We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Judicial Authority Law issued by Royal Decree 90/99 and its amendments,

the Public Prosecution Law issued by Royal Decree 92/99,

and Royal Decree 110/2000 Issuing the Schedule of the Salaries, Allowances, and Stipends of Judges, Members of the Administrative Court, and Members of the Public Prosecution,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Hussain bin Ali bin Zahir Al-Hilali is hereby appointed Public Prosecutor.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The percentage of shareholders’ contribution must be reduced by the same percentage as the capital reduction.
