Royal Decree 83/2004 Appointing a Non-resident Ambassador

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Farsi, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Guinea.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 76/2004 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Manpower and Adopting Its Organisational Structure

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 108/2001 Dividing the Ministry of Social Affairs, Labour, and Vocational Training,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mandates of the Ministry of Manpower are hereby determined in accordance with the attached annex 1.

Article II

The organisational structure of the Ministry of Manpower is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex 2.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 68/2004 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Works of the Collection and Transmission Network Necessary for Wastewater Projects in Each of the Wilayat Sur, Nizwa, Khasab, and Buraimi

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project of the works of the collection and transmission network necessary for wastewater projects in each of the Wilayat Sur, Nizwa, Khasab, and Buraimi specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, real estate and land necessary for the project, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
