We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 90/85 Determining the Occupational Status of the Position of Secretary General,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Saif bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Abri is hereby appointed Secretary General of the Office of the Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
