We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

the Charter of the International Maritime Telecommunications Organization (INMARSAT) and its Operating Agreement,

and the amendments approved by the General Assembly of the International Maritime Telecommunications Organization (INMARSAT) in London in December 1994,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The amendment to the Charter of the International Maritime Telecommunications Organization (INMARSAT) and its Operating Agreement is hereby ratified in accordance with the approval of the general assembly of the organisation in London in December 1994.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Philips Petroleum Oman Company Limited signed on 28 Muharram 1417, corresponding to 15 June 1996 between the Minister of Oil and Minerals on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate and the mentioned company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 15 June 1996 between the Government of the Sultanate and Philips Petroleum Oman Company Limited is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

The Financial Affairs Council and the Natural Gas Council are hereby merged into one council named the “Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council”, and the mandates prescribed to each of them are hereby transferred to it.

Article II

The Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council is hereby recomposed under Our chairmanship as follows:

Article III

All text that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
