the assignment contract dated 12 July 1990, under which Wintershall Oman BV assigned all its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 25 February 1985 to Trans World Oil Limited, which accepts this assignment,

and the letter of the Minister of Oil and Minerals dated 27 June 1990 approving the assignment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by Wintershall Oman BVof all its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 25 February 1985 to Trans World Oil Limited is hereby approved. The final shares of the parties to the agreement are as follows:

50% International Petroleum Limited.

50% Trans World Oil Limited.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 6/91 Adopting the Administrative Division of the Sultanate

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and to stimulate the urban and economic activity in the country,

to facilitate the spread of services in the various cities and villages of the Sultanate,

and to facilitate the selection of representatives of the wilayat in Majlis Al-Shura,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The administrative division of the Sultanate is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex.

Article II

All relevant entities shall make the necessary amendments to their internal systems in accordance with the mentioned administrative division.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Suleiman bin Muhanna Al-Adawi is hereby appointed Secretary General of Taxation in the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

Article II

In exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law, Salem bin Aufit Al-Shanfari—Director General of Finance in Salalah at the Ministry of Finance and Economy—is hereby transferred to the special grade.
