We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The services of Sayyid Sultan bin Hamad bin Hilal Al-Samar are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Interior, and he is hereby appointed an advisor in it with his same current grade and allocations.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

In exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law, Hussein bin Said bin Mohammed—Director General of Accounts Auditing—is hereby transferred to the first financial grade of the first circle of the general schedule designated for an undersecretary of a ministry with his same current position, as of 1 October 1984.

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Article 3(a) of the mentioned Royal Decree 26/77, relating to the sole trader is hereby amended to read as follows:

(a) That he is originally of Omani nationality or that three Gregorian years have passed since his naturalisation, and that he is habitually resident in Oman.

Article 2

Ghalib bin Abdullah bin Jubran Al-Yafei—Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt—is hereby transferred and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the State of Bahrain.

Article 4

Abdullah bin Ali Al-Najjar—Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—is hereby transferred and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Article 5

Issa bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Raisi—Our ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Sudan—is hereby transferred and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the State of Qatar.

Article 6

Ambassador Farid bin Mubarak Al-Hinai is hereby transferred from the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the People’s Republic of China.

Article 7

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
