We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 3/83 Issuing the Law Governing Omani Nationality,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Hassan Saleh Aboud Batouq is hereby granted Omani nationality.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 111/81 Authorising the Minister of Transport to Sign a Bilateral Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Government of the Republic of Austria on Air Services Between and Beyond Their Respective Territories,

and the texts of the mentioned agreement signed in Muscat on 3 November 1982,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Bilateral Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Government of the Republic of Austria on Air Services Between and Beyond Their Respective Territories is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 10/80 Ratifying the General Statute of the Gulf Post Authority,

Royal Decree 3/82 Ratifying the Additional Protocol to the First Congress of the Gulf Post Authority held in Baghdad in 1978, the Postal Agreement, and the Additional Protocol to the Extraordinary Conference of the Gulf Post Authority held in the City of Abha in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1981,

and the decisions of the Conference of the Gulf Post Authority held in the City of Doha in the State of Qatar from 9 to 14 April 1983 and the amended Postal Agreement of the Gulf Post Authority,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The amended Postal Agreement of the Gulf Post Authority signed in the city of Doha in the State of Qatar on 14 April 1983 and approved by the mentioned Gulf Post Authority Congress is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.

The Chairman of the Capital Municipality is hereby authorised to sign the mentioned Twinning Agreement Between the City of Muscat and the City of Casablanca.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Chairman of the Municipality of the Capital is hereby authorised to sign the mentioned Bilateral Cooperation Protocol between the Municipality of the Capital Muscat and the Secretariat of the Capital Amman, the Capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 84/81 Establishing the State Consultative Council,

and Royal Decree 86/81 on the Internal Statute of the State Consultative Council,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The text of article 8 of the mentioned Royal Decree 84/81 is hereby amended to read as follows:

The council shall hold at least three ordinary sessions each year to consider the agenda prepared by the secretariat general in agreement with the executive office. The executive office shall undertake the work of the board between sessions. The council may form standing or temporary subcommittees from among its members to study the matters it refers to them.

Article 2

The text of article 28 of the mentioned Royal Decree 86/81 is hereby amended to read as follows:

The council shall hold three sessions annually during the first week of January, May, and September of each year. The work statute of the council must determine the number and dates of its sittings during each session. With the approval of the council, a sitting may be postponed to an unspecified date. In this case, the chairman shall set the date of the next sitting and notify the members of the council of it. The chairman may invite the council to convene before the scheduled date of the sitting if there is a reason to do so.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
