Categories Royal Decree Royal Decree 37/2024 Ratifying the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer Post author By admin Post date September 23, 2024 Arabic We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State, Royal Decree 73/98 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer and the Montreal Protocol on Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer, the Kigali Amendment 2019 to the Montreal Protocol on Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer, and in pursuance of public interest, have decreed as follows Article I The aforementioned Kigali amendment is hereby ratified in the form attached. Article II Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of ratification for the aforementioned amendment in accordance with its provisions. Article III This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
