Based on Royal Decree 97/2020 Amending the Name of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,
Ministerial Decision 13/2012 Determining the Fees for Services, Tests, and Analyses Performed by the Directorate General of Standards and Metrology,
and the approval of the Ministry of Finance,
and in pursuance of public interest,
it is hereby decided
Article I
A new clause numbered 8 is hereby added to “First: Issuance of Certificates and Documents” of Schedule 1 “Fees for Services Performed by the Quality Control Directorate and the Standards and Metrology Directorates and Sections” attached to the aforementioned Ministerial Decision 13/2012, as follows:| No | Service | Fees in Rial Omani |

Article II
New clauses numbered 7, 8, and 9 are hereby added to “Fourth: Miscellaneous Services” from Schedule 1 “Fees for Services Performed by the Quality Control Directorate and the Standards and Metrology Directorates and Sections” attached to the aforementioned Ministerial Decision 13/2012, as follows:| No | Service | Fees in Rial Omani |

Article III

Based on the Law Regulating the Accounting and Auditing Profession promulgated by Royal Decree 77/86,
Royal Decree 97/2020 Amending the Name of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,
and Ministerial Decision 111/2021 Forming the Committee for Registration in the Accountants and Auditors Register and Determining Its Working System,
and in pursuance of public interest,
it is hereby decided
Article I
Clause 1 of article I of the aforementioned Decision Forming the Committee for Registration in the Accountants and Auditors Register and Determining Its Working System is hereby replaced with the following clause:1. Vice-President of the Insurance Sector in the Capital Market Authority as chairman.
Article II

The fee for restructuring applications of the merchant debtor is hereby determined at 10 (ten) Rial Omani.

Article I
Omani Standard Specification OS 1655:2022 for Plain Packaging of Tobacco Products is hereby deemed a binding Omani standard specification.
Article II
An administrative fine not exceeding 1,000 (one thousand) Rial Omani shall be imposed on anyone who violates the provisions of this decision, and the fine shall be doubled if the violation is repeated.
Article III
The aforementioned Ministerial Decision 12/2012 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to this decision or in conflict with its provisions.
Article IV
This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force after the lapse of 6 (six) months from the date of its publication.
