We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 7/74 Issuing the Omani Penal Law,
Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,
Royal Decree 66/81 Determining the Powers of the Advisor to the State for Criminal Affairs,
and Royal Decree 116/81 Appointing the President of the Criminal Court,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Abdullah Mohammed Al-Dhahab is hereby appointed Acting President of the Criminal Court in the Capital.
Article 2
Said Hilal Mohammed Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed Deputy President of the Criminal Court in the Capital.
Article 3
Article I of the mentioned Royal Decree 116/81 is hereby repealed.
Article 4
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
