Royal Decree 17/2022 Ratifying the Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Chile on the Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic, Special, Service, and Official Passports

Arabic

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Chile on the Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic, Special, Service, and Official Passports signed in the city of Cairo on 22 March 2022,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 16/2022 Granting Omani Nationality

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Omani Nationality Law promulgated by Royal Decree 38/2014,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby granted to those named in the attached list.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 15/2022 Amending Some Provisions of Royal Decree 31/2012 Establishing the National Centre for Statistics and Information

Arabic We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State, Royal Decree 31/2012 Establishing the National Centre for Statistics and Information, the System of the National Centre for Statistics and Information promulgated by Royal Decree 40/2014 , and the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 75/2020, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The text of article 1 of the aforementioned Royal Decree 31/2012 is hereby replaced with the following text: “A centre named the ‘National Centre for Statistics and Information’ is hereby established subordinate to the Council of Ministers.”

Article II

The phrase “Minister of Economy” is hereby replaced with the phrase “Council of Ministers” wherever it occurs in the aforementioned System of the National Centre for Statistics and Information.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance. Issued on: 15 Ramadan 1443 Corresponding to: 17 April 2022

Royal Decree 14/2022 Amending Some Provisions of the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 75/2020,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached amendments to the aforementioned System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State shall be implemented.

Article II

All that is contrary to the attached amendments, or in conflict with their provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
