The name of the “Directorate General of Information and Studies” in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers is hereby amended to the “Decision-Making Support Unit”, and its subordination is hereby transferred to the deputy secretary general.

Article III
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The texts of clauses 2 and 3 of article 2 of the Executive Regulation of the Foreigners Residency Law are hereby replaced with the following texts:
2. Land ports: Sarfait, Mazyunah, Dibba, Darah, Khatam, Hamasa, Rawdah, Hadf, Sa’ara, Hafeet, Wajajah, Khatmat Milaha, Aswad, and Rub’ Al-Khali.
3. Sea ports: Port Sultan Qaboos, Mina Al-Fahal, Port of Salalah, Khasab Port, Sohar Port, Shinas Port, Suwaiq Port, Sur (Fishing Port), Qalhat Port, Masirah Port, and Port of Duqm.
Article II
All that is contrary to this decision, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Article I
The geographical jurisdiction of the primary and appeal administrative circuits is hereby specified as follows:
– The Appeal Administrative Circuit of the Court of Appeal in Muscat:
The scope of its jurisdiction shall be all the governorates of the Sultanate.
– The Primary Administrative Circuit of the Primary Court in Muscat:
The scope of its jurisdiction shall be the governorates of Muscat, Dakhiliya, Batinah South, Sharqiyah North, Sharqiyah South, and Wusta.
– The Administrative Circuit of the Primary Court in Salalah:
The scope of its jurisdiction shall be the wilayat of the Governorate of Dhofar.
– The Primary Administrative Circuit of the Primary Court in Sohar:
The scope of its jurisdiction shall be the governorates of Batinah North, Musandam, Buraimi, and Dhahirah.
Article II
This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 October 2022.
