We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74 and its amendments,

and the Constitutive Contract and Articles of Association of Oman Cement Company,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The following are hereby appointed members of the Board of Directors of the mentioned Oman Cement Company as representatives of the share of the Government of the Sultanate:

– Issa Mohammed Issa

– Mohammed Abdullah Al-Harthi

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,

Royal Decree 61/81 Ratifying the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 4 July 1981 Between the Government of the Sultanate and a Group of Companies,

the assignment by International Energy Development Corporation, B.V. of all its rights and obligations in the agreement to its subsidiary, IEDC (Oman) LTD, which in turn assigned 50% of its total mentioned rights and obligations to the Kuwaiti company, KUFPEC,

and the acceptance by the Kuwaiti company KUFPEC of this assignment,

and the approval of the Minister of Oil and Minerals of the mentioned assignments, as set out in his letters dated 12 October 1982 and 2 November 1983, respectively,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The assignment by IEDC (Oman) of 50% of its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement to KUFPEC is hereby approved, so that the shares of the companies in the agreement become as follows:

The provisions of article 21 of the agreement apply to this assignment.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Agreement on Media Cooperation signed in Muscat on 9 February 1983 Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Tunisia,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Agreement on Media Cooperation signed Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Tunisia is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Protocol on Media Cooperation Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Articles of Association of Gulf Air “Joint-Stock Company”,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The following are hereby appointed as representatives of the government to the Board of Directors of Gulf Air Company:

– The Minister of Transport.

– The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Affairs.

– The Undersecretary of Financial Affairs.

– The Director General of Civil Aviation.

Article 2

The Minister of Transport shall implement this decree.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
