We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 44/80 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Abdullah Ahmed Al-Ghazali is hereby retired.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Salim Ismail Suwaid—Our ambassador to the Republic of Italy—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to:
1. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
2. The Socialist Republic of Romania.
3. The Republic of Malta.

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
