after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Yousuf Jaafar Marashi is hereby granted Omani nationality.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 17/76 Transferring the Responsibility of Supervising the Affairs of the Municipality of the Capital and Regional Municipalities to the Ministry of Land and Municipality Affairs,
and Royal Decree 14/83 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The following is hereby added to the mandates of the Wali of Dhofar provided in annex A attached to the mentioned Royal Decree 26/75:Issuing local orders on matters entrusted to Dhofar Municipality to ensure the development of the committee of the municipality and to enable it to exercise its powers in the fullest manner.
Article 2

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 34/73 Issuing the Labour Law,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The text of article 22 of the mentioned Royal Decree 34/73 is hereby amended to read as follows:
Every employer who employs twenty workers or more shall contribute to the vocational training of Omanis by one or all of the following means in accordance with the decision issued by the minister.
(a) Establishing a training centre at the workplace and developing training and testing programmes supervised by the ministry.
(b) Contributing with other employers working in an industry similar to his industry to establishing a training centre and developing training and testing programmes supervised by the ministry.
(c) Providing a financial contribution to vocational training projects managed by the ministry. This contribution must be calculated based on the number of workers employed by the employer. The minister shall determine the amount of the contribution by a decision issued by him, provided that it does not exceed 6% of the total salaries of all workers per year.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
In exception to the provisions of the mentioned Civil Service Law, Bakhit Said Al-Amri—Director General of the Directorate General of Transport at Salalah—is hereby transferred to the first financial grade of the first circle of the general schedule designated for an undersecretary of a ministry without changing the title of his position, as of 1 July 1983.
Article 2
The relevant entities shall implement this decree, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
the Omani Banking Law 7/74,
and the decision of the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund 34/2 issued on 11 December 1978,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The increase of the share of the Sultanate in the International Monetary Fund from 30 (thirty million) to 63.1 million units of special drawing rights is hereby ratified. The Sultanate of Oman shall bear all the obligations arising from such increase in accordance with the laws in force in it.
Article 2
All relevant entities shall implement this decree, each within its mandates.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
