We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Saif bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Sawwafi, Advisor to the Office of the Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, is hereby granted the special grade.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Dr Madiha bint Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Shaibaniya is hereby appointed Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
